Summer League Filling Up FastApril 5, 2017
Three Activities to Stay Sharp This SummerApril 27, 2017
As the season comes to an end, it’s important to take some time to reflect on how the season went. The feeling you take away from the season plays a big part in your decision to return for the next one, so here are some ideas on how to end it on a high-note.
- Think about some great moments during the season. Take some time to think about some moments that you really enjoyed. It could be a great play, or improved performance, or some funny incidents that happened this season.
- Think about the real progress that has been made. Maybe your puck handling needed a bit of work, or you weren’t as fast as you wanted to be in the pre-season. How does that stack up now? Think about how you’ve improved this season, and how hard you’ve worked to get there. Take satisfaction in that!
- Review your goals for the season. What did you want to accomplish this season? Did you accomplish it? If you did, pat yourself on the back for a job well done. If you didn’t, set out a positive plan to reach them next season, or come up with another set of goals.
Chances are, you had moments that you really enjoyed. Even if you didn’t accomplish everything you wanted to this year, it’s important to focus on what you did do, and the fun you had along the way. There’s always next season, which could be as early as next month if you join us for the summer season!
